On 30 July 2025, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV), Thung Yai Campus, officially opened Ros 41 Farm Outlet, a retail outlet established to sell agricultural products, test new products in the market, and provide a sales platform for products developed by the university and local communities.
The outlet also features food menus developed using beef and goat meat under the project entitled “Enhancing Livestock Production Capacity and Adding Value to Livestock Products through Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) in Southern Thailand.” RUTS serves as the project management institution, working in collaboration with three partner universities: Walailak University, Prince of Songkla University, and Princess of Naradhiwas University.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Khwanhathai Jaipiem, Vice President for Nakhon Si Thammarat Campus. Following the opening ceremony, she visited the outlet's featured products developed by student entrepreneurs and explored various food stalls offering a range of products and dishes, including beef steaks, grilled goat meat skewers, goat and sheep meat dishes, shabu-shabu, toasted bread, and coffee. The event also featured musical performances by university students, creating a lively atmosphere for visitors.
Ros 41 Farm Outlet is located in front of RUTS Thung Yai Campus, along Highway 41. Its spacious location and convenient parking facilities make it an accessible stop for travelers and local consumers.
The outlet welcomes customers interested in purchasing products and sampling food, as well as entrepreneurs and community producers who wish to display their products and test their market potential.
